Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark
For at least one series each year, the GCU Club Baseball team competes at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark. The 1,500-seat ballpark was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, then renovated again in 2018, and has become one of the premier venues in college baseball. Named in honor of Dr. Dave Brazell, the founder and developer of Canyon baseball who passed away in late 2018, Brazell Field provides natural grass with a dirt infield and dirt base paths. The stadium also features an inning-by-inning digital scoreboard, purple-colored chairback seating, covered dugouts, a turf berm, a multi-room press box, a state-of-the-art sound system, wireless internet access, lights for night games and mesh awnings to cover the stands where fans come cheer on the Lopes.
