Canyon Activity Center
The Canyon Activity Center is one of the newer jewels of the athletic facilities on the GCU campus. The CAC is a 136,000-square-foot athletic facility that houses 10 full-size basketball and volleyball courts, each of which has its own scoreboard for individual games and tournaments. The center also includes a weight room, dedicated locker rooms and a full-service Lopes Mart. Mats are available for wrestling, club STUNT and mixed martial arts teams.
Students can also challenge themselves on the rock-climbing wall, play fellow students on five different ping-pong tables and even use a treadmill or elliptical machine. The CAC has been host to the Mountain West Volleyball Conference Championships, the Arizona Women’s Basketball League title game each March, the NIRSA Region VI Basketball Championships and the Arizona A Cappella Festival (hosted by GCU Club A Cappella).
