On Monday, November 6, the GCU Women's Club Basketball team took on the Arizona Christian University Firestorm for the first game of the season, and the first of many Arizona Women's Basketball League games in the Canyon Activity Center this season. Finishing on top, 59-43, the Lopes got new head coach Josh Braun a victory in his first-ever game.
