GCU Club Sports Informational Meetings get started September 4th!

Annual GCU Club & Community Fair kicks off Friday’s festivities – followed by 5 Informational Meetings

With GCU Welcome Week set to start Monday, August 31, GCU Club Sports will once again welcome prospective student-athletes back to campus by holding Informational Meetings for every sport beginning Friday, September 4. Just hours after the annual GCU Club & Community Fair, which will be held at GCU's Canyon Activity Center that same Friday from 10 AM until 1 PM, five different GCU Club Sports teams will give students even more ways to learn about their respective teams. After that, nearly all of the rest of the GCU's 40+ club sports on the GCU campus will commence their Informational Meetings between September 8 and 11.

Students are first encouraged to attend the GCU Club & Community Fair, since all club sports will have tables with plenty of information, with coaches and returning players in attendance, and the event is completely free. As far as the informational meetings, they'll each be 30-45 minutes in length, and the purpose of the meetings is to give more in-depth information about their programs and more one-on-one interaction with coaches and players, asking whatever questions they may have. The meetings are also designed to give everyone a chance to sign up for the sport (if they wish) right at the meeting for a discounted rate. There is no cost to attend the meetings.

Prospective members should locate the sport(s) they are interested in on the chart, find the date, time and location of the meeting next to it, and attend the meeting.
