Dempsey joined the GCU Bowling program as an assistant coach in 2021. Riley has experience working in the industry for 17 years. As a junior, he won 15 JBT titles. He was a manager at Virtue Bowling Supply for 8 years. His time working in the pro shop led him to pursue coaching at a higher level. He is a USBC Silver Level Coach and IBPSIA certified Master Technician. Dempsey's biggest acomplishment thusfar is assiting and guiding the team to their second ITC National Championship appearance in 2024.
