Few people on the GCU Club Sports staff have grown with the program as organically as Aislinn Whitehead. A Glendale native who first came to GCU as a soccer player, then as a graduate assistant coach, and finally, one of the inaugural club sports employees when Dr. Dan Nichols brought her on board in the early days of the department.  Whitehead has now been part of the program for more than 13 years — working her way from Coordinator to Operations Manager to her current role as Assistant Director, where she oversees much of the business operations and compliance that keeps the nation’s largest club sports program running.

Before her time behind the desk, Whitehead made her mark on the soccer field. The former Aislinn Finfrock played her prep ball at Independence High School in Glendale before going on to earn 1st Team All-ACCAC and All-Region 1 honors as a midfielder at Phoenix College in 2007. She then played at the University of Mobile in Alabama before finishing her playing career as a midfielder at GCU in 2009 — making her one of the few members of the club sports staff who can say they wore a Lopes’ uniform. Whitehead holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degrees - both in Psychology from GCU.

Whitehead is a devoted wife to her husband of nine years, Ronnie, and they are the proud parents of two children, Ronald III and Roslinn.
