GCU Men’s Ice Hockey hosts Arizona State in 2nd Annual Grand Canyon Classic

Organizers eye 2nd straight sellout of Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley Saturday

A sellout last year.

This year, expect as much or more.

After wowing hockey enthusiasts and organizers alike last November with a thrilling hockey game played in front of nearly 4000 patrons, tickets are already going fast for this weekend's 2nd Annual Grand Canyon College Hockey Classic. The game – which will again pit the host Grand Canyon University D1 Men's Hockey team against an intrastate archrival - will be held once again at Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley this Saturday night, November 1st. The capacity crowd in 2024 of 3792 fans was easily the largest home crowd in Lopes' Hockey's nine-year history, and organizers are expecting the same type of turnout from hockey-hungry Prescott-area fans as well as devotees of both 10th-ranked GCU and this year's opponent, Arizona State University.

Tickets are available for purchase online NOW at the GCU Club Sports and Findlay Toyota Center websites. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:35PM Saturday, with special pregame and halftime events expected as part of the evening. Findlay Toyota Center is located at 3201 North Main Street (at the corner of Main Street and Florentine Road) in Prescott Valley.
