Four members of the Grand Canyon University Division 1 Club Baseball team have earned spots on the NCBA Southern Pacific Region All-Region squads, including two returning pitchers and a pair of 1^st-year Lopes. Lopes' outfielder Jaden Earle was named to the SoPac's 1^st Team after a standout season at the plate, while catcher/infielder Noah Rush was honored with a 2^nd Team selection. Lopes' senior starting pitcher Tyler Soren and sophomore closer Nathan McLean each earned 3^rd Team recognition.
 
Earle was arguably the most consistent offensive force for the Lopes all season long. From the time Earle (along with his brother, Owen) arrived from Corona, California last summer, he settled into the No. 3 slot in the batting order and led the way in most offensive categories. The junior outfielder narrowly missed hitting the magic .400 mark for the season, leading the Lopes with a . 392 batting average. Earle also racked up 40 hits – including nine doubles and five home runs – while driving in 29 runs and scoring 25 more in 27 games. Earle was just as dangerous with runners on the basepaths, posting a .412 average with runners in scoring position.
 
Rush provided a dependable presence behind the plate and at first base while hitting in different spots in the Lopes' lineup. The sophomore from Corrales, New Mexico, appeared in 26 games, hitting .333 with four homers, six doubles and a pair of triples. Rush's .578 slugging percentage, 24 runs scored and 16 RBI were second only to Earle on the squad. Opponents who chalked his speed up to "what a catcher would do" found out differently, since Rush was a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen bases.
 
Soren, who earned NCBA All-American recognition for GCU in 2024, continued to carve up opposing hitters in 2026. Moving from closer/part-time starter to full-time Game 1 starter this season, Soren's 49 strikeouts (in just 37 innings) once again led the squad, finishing with a 1-3 record with a 5.35 ERA while holding opponents to a .237 batting average. McLean rounded out the Lopes' All-Region honorees by going 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA with 22 strikeouts (and just five walks) in his new closer role, earning a save. That third win came in the last of his two starts in the final regular season weekend, going the seven-inning distance in a 4-2 win over Northern Arizona University.
 
"With losing a good amount of players from the previous season, we needed some guys to step up and fill that void, and we were pleased that Jaden and Noah did so in a big way," said Lopes' Head Coach Rich Warnol. "Our pitching kept us in ball games this year, and Tyler's success as a starter all being a closer those previous years was a big part. We knew Nathan would be big for us this year. We're sad to see Tyler go but excited to move Nathan into a starting role next year."

The Lopes finished the year with a 16-11 overall record and a 10-5 mark in SoPac South play.
