GCU Club Sports 2026-27: What You Need to Know

A quick guide to what’s in store for the next few weeks for club sports student-athletes as school begins

Here we go again.

Welcome Week is in full swing, and the buzz around another year of GCU Club Sports is picking up right along with it. Here's a rundown of the reminders, dates and resources you'll want over the next couple of weeks to get plugged into everything club sports has to offer:
AT A GLANCE
Tabling in the Promenade: Mon, Aug 31 – Wed, Sept 2, 10AM–Noon
GCU Club Fair: Fri, Sept 4, 10AM–1PM – Canyon Activity Center
Informational Meetings: Sept 4–15, by sport
Club Sports Office: Building 58, Room 133

Tabling in the Promenade

New to campus and still finding your way around? Swing by the Promenade — the walkway just north of the 33rd Avenue gate, running past Buildings 18, 26 & 16 (see the map below) — anytime between 10AM and noon, Monday, August 31 through Wednesday, September 2. You'll find out about all kinds of things going on at GCU, and that includes our tent, where coaches and administrators will be on hand to answer whatever questions you've got!

GCU Club Fair

Move-In is once again just three days this year, so the annual GCU Club & Community Fair wraps up Welcome Week on Friday, September 4, from 10AM to 1PM. All 47 club sports will be on hand as the Canyon Activity Center fills up with every club on campus showing off what they do. Grab a QR code at any table to dig deeper into a sport that catches your eye.

Informational Meetings

Every club sport holds its own informational meeting between September 4 and 15, kicking off with five of them just hours after the Club Fair wraps up. Men's Flag Football, Men's and Women's Club Soccer, and Men's and Women's Hockey go first this week, with most others following during the first week of classes. Meetings run 30-45 minutes, they're free, and they're the best way to get the real scoop on schedules, practices and team philosophy. Sign up for your sport at the meeting and you'll lock in a discounted rate. Find the full meeting schedule here.
